If your browser is IE or NS 4.0 or above, and the page has finished loading, you can drag the tree lights and decorations with your cursor to a new position to see how they look on a different tree. Try it right now! |
Notes: These items do not require any expansion packs. The tree lights and decorations were designed to go with the Incense Cedar and Larch trees, but they can be placed on any appropriately sized tree, eg. they are surprisingly effective if placed on all four tiles of Maxis' Birch tree. The lights for the hedge twinkle too. The llama can only be from Simorphor. |
Notes: These items do not require any expansion packs. The snow groundcover and snow floor tile match each other. If you are wanting to cover a large area with snow, it is best to use the floor tile. Your Sims will 'sink' into the snow groundcover, but it is not recommended to be used next to a house it will bleed through the walls. Use the snow floor tile next to buildings. The snowy trees have been modified to be placed on top of outside floor tiles. |
Notes:
In your game, the arched hedge will be found in with the walls in Build Mode. |

Notes: |
Having made these single-tiled trees, I was curious to see if a forest effect could be created within the confines of the game. The result, and the downloads, are available here (or click on the trees). |
The experimental Forest page is rather large and graphics intensive, so it could take some while to load. I hope fellow 56k modem users are not in a hurry to go elsewhere! |
If your browser is IE or NS 4.0 or above, and the page has fully loaded, you can create your own grove of snowy trees drag the trees and shrubs into a new arrangement (and the jacuzzi, too!). |
