Notes:
No expansion packs are required for these items. They are all categorised for the original game. There is an almond, apricot, apple and pear tree in the blossoming set. Poppies, clover, daisies and wild pansies are in the spring flowers set. Obviously the water butt looks better on a single-storied building. Your Sims will walk right through the verandah railing. The white hallway window is set slightly off-centre so looks best placed on the left of a door. |
It's October, so it's Spring ... ... in New Zealand ... and across the ditch in Australia and everywhere else in the Southern Hemisphere! |
Notes:
No expansion packs are required for these items. They are all categorised for the original game. The framed verandah railings are interchangeable with the railings in the above update. You will need to use Caro's invisible floor tile to place the railings on an upper storey flip the framed railings to face into each other. Each bay window set contains the matching floor and interior wallpaper only. The exterior wallpaper will be found in the update above. The NZ mere is just a souvenir from Rotorua to hang on the wall not a Sims' souvenir. |
The stairs are just a re-colour to match the wallpaper and floor colours. |

Notes:
No expansion packs are required for these items. The verandah roof set contains three droppable roof pieces which are to be placed on the same storey as the verandah. I recommend that you enclose the kiwis in a ring of trees and bushes, remembering that they will escape through Persimmon Grove's 4-tiled trees or groundcovers. (Click here to see a pop-up of the whole enclosure.) The oleander is not an Antipodean native but is a very popular summer-flowering plant Downunder. The kiwi sheltering under the mahoe bush is just for show and can be found in your Decorative category. The two tikumu shrubs can be used to stop the kiwis getting out, but they allow a Sim access in to feed the birds. |
A house lot featuring this house can be downloaded here. |
The kiwi food can only be used for these kiwis. When it looks like the far right picture,
it is empty.
|
The kiwi is a national symbol of New Zealand. A bird that is rarely seen, it is nocturnal,
flightless, endangered
and lays the biggest egg in proportion to its size of any bird in the world ... ... not to be confused with kiwifruit which are so named because NZ was the first to grow the fruit commercially and export them around the world they used to be called Chinese gooseberries 'cos the plant is native to China. |

Notes:
No expansion packs are required for these items. They are all categorised for the original game. The blue verandah roof sets provide you with the pieces to build a North Island bach or a South Island folly. The columns supporting the bach's roof can be found on the More Greenery page. Caro's transparent floor, an illustrated list of the roof and verandah pieces and how they might be used, can be found here. A landscaped lot with this beach already in place can be found here. |

Notes:
No expansion packs are required for these items. They are all categorised for the original game. There are certain limitations when using the gable roofs. Please check here for an explanation. The gables will drop with the walls and are made to fit a shallow-pitched Maxis roof. The matching red or blue corrugated roofs can be found above in the earlier updates. The cream baywindow sets each include the floor and interior wallpaper only if you already have them, throw these copies away. |
For greater versatility (or confusion!): This set contains a white weatherboard bay window, a plain white interior wall only and a light-coloured floor tile: Bay Window White & Plain Set (392k) In this set, you will find a plain bay window, a light floor tile, the interior and exterior walls, and the matching bargeboards: Bay Window All Plain Set (472k) |
